Active Break Every Day Challenge

We are excited to launch the Active Break Every Day Challenge across the school this term, in association with the GAA, which runs from next Monday January 19th - Friday February 13th. 

The Active Breaks Challenge for 2026 is supported by the GAA, who, working with the Active School Flag team, have created a set of videos to support this initiative. Each video is filmed at a different location around Croke Park, giving pupils a behind-the-scenes look at where the team buses arrive, the players’ dressing rooms, and the warm-up areas where legends get game ready. Along the way, pupils will also learn interesting facts about Croke Park.

Classes will take part in short, fun, and energetic movement breaks during the school day. These videos are designed to motivate children, promote physical activity, and bring a sense of excitement and connection to our national games.
