In keeping with our Active School’s commitments from last year both Junior and Senior Infant classes, along with their teachers and some parent volunteers set off, dressed to scare, on a walk around Swords. Similar to last year, our event raised much needed funds for our schools' sports programmes and it was hoped that we’d raise enough to fund some new equipment for our alternative playground yards. Although our legs were very tired on our return, and we just about escaped the showers on the day it was a huge success.
We cannot wait to embark on this spooky tradition again next year.
