Rivervalley Junior parkrun are hosting a special parkrun Abù event on Sunday March 15th 2026 to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge, St. Patrick's Day and the diversity of modern Irish Culture more broadly in our communities.
We are hoping to provide an inclusive event for all the community to come together to celebrate our language, customs and traditions while also embracing the diverse mix of other languages and cultures present within the community.
We are whole-heartedly encouraging pupils to attend in St. Patrick's themed dress-up and to bring any signage As Gaeilge and/or accessories with our language on display! 
Children 4 - 14 can register and receive a time for completion of the 2km loop. Registration link below:

We're hoping to deliver the event pre-run briefing As Gaeilge and also add as much additional Irish language where possible!
Finishers will receive SNAG stickers and some treats!
