In keeping with our Active School commitments, and as part of a much-loved tradition here in St. Colmcille’s, our annual Hallowe’en Witches Walk saw the whole school take part this year on a spooky walk around Swords village, dressed to scare.
The atmosphere was fantastic as everyone embraced the fun and fitness of the day.
We asked for a €2 donation on the day, with the funds collected going towards the purchase and replenishment of the toys and suppliers used in the Infant classrooms to support learning and imaginative play. Although our legs were very tired on our return, the event was a huge success.
We are already looking forward to continuing this much-loved tradition again next year.
